TCSS kill switch

so im planning on doing my first CFX install and i wanted to do a removable battery set up with a kill switch as apposed to to recharge port. i was looking though the CFX manual and cant seem to find anywhere on how to wire a kill switch found every thing else in he manual but that .. so what im asking is does any now how to wire a kill switch for use with a removable battery set up for a CFX??

place the kill switch between batt+ and board + that will kill power to the CFX (or any board).  then ensure all other component negatives/gnd run off the board and not directly wired to the battery

The image you supplied is the recharge port wiring. OP specifically said removable battery and no rc port...

Hi ken

A recharge port with kill key is a switch.The high amp kills switch gets wired in the same way. Centre lug of the switch would be the “board negative” and the other two solder points are essentially interchangeable; I just wired it up that way on a CF 7 and it works.

Interesting note - I had to go into the override.txt file and change the preset for the switch to get it to work properly

Do you really need a kill switch with removable batteries though?
