darth sidious korbanth run lightsaber
« on: March 01, 2015, 06:13:40 PM »
Ok guys this is my first lightsaber built. I must say building this saber was tough . The material i used is:

The Nano Biscotte V2
2.1 mm Recharge port(hidden since it has deep sleep)
3.7 rechargeable battery
Luxeon Tri-Rebel Star (red of course)
SPST Momentary tactile switch
switch rings ( from force relic)
Nano Biscotte Cradle (from force relic)

I was really surprise how small and skinny this lightsaber was but I was manage to squeeze ever thing in there. Two thing I was disappointed in was the foc board didn't work. I Don't know if I fried the board or wired it up wrong. The second is the emitter on the saber won't snug in place. I know some people said if you tighten the screw It would lock in place but that didn't work for me. Other than that this lightsaber is beautiful. i like to thank korbanth for the run, thank force relic for the cradle and ring and finally, thank you guys for helping me out. Enjoy!

Use a rubber o-ring between the body and emitter. That should alleviate that looseness.

You didn't fry the board if it and the LED operates OK. Check your wiring regarding the FoC.

Might be easier to post a wanted ad rather than replying to threads from 9 months ago that aren't in the for sale section.

Great job.

The Sid hilt is certainly a challenging install especially for a first build.
