yes, this run would have been EXTREMELY limited, or even non-existant if it weren't for the generosity of the members here. You guys/gals made this happen. Casey and I can't begin to show our gratitude, both the donations and for allowing us to be part of this.
Thanks to all.

Great works guys! Everyone who helped to make this happen as well! I know I'm very glad to have been able to contribute to the cause and hope that all the sabers brighten the lives of the kids that get them (pun inteded  :P). Hope to see this type of amazing teamwork again in the future.

minor update:

a few more hilts will be mailed out between today and Monday. This weekend we should have a few more hilts finished, and some of those will go to the local kids in our area, (pictures will follow).

Wanna thank Jango and Qui-Gon for making the blades for the ones that ship with blades and Lord Dracus and his family for the generous donation as well.

totally bragging here:

I was there to meet one of the children who got a saber that kicked off the whole idea (back in October).  The look on his face any time there was ANY saber around, and after talking to his mom, she said that he now sleeps with his saber (well, who doesn't), it was well worth the donations that I gave, and it made me sorry that I wouldn't be around to help hand out the rest.

I have no interaction with children, let alone little boys, but watching him, 'duelling with him'  (ever see a grown woman screaming like a little girl and getting chased by a pint sized sith lord?  Well no one else did either - it was pitch dark) and playing with him gave me a whole new respect for mothers, and made me realize that the SW universe will NEVER go away.  And I'm very glad of that.

This was an AMAZING thing that you both did this (as well as everyone's VERY GENEROUS donations, and once again makes me proud that I was able to partake in this way of giving value to the ones who need it most.
