I'm also using Blender for 3D printing, I was inducted to it by a good friend that loves it.

I already printed a couple of chassis and kill plugs with Shapeways and the results are very good.
One of them is already installed in a saber and made the install very easy and fast.

If you look for free STL files you can have a look at Thingiverse - Digital Designs for Physical Objects, people put up for download a lot of interesting stuff.

thanks for the thingiverse link, I never even thought about that one for 3D files lol... another one is: grabcad.com but you have to hunt a little to find ones with the right file type downloads :)

3D printing is indeed great for a lot of inner saber parts, including chassis ! I love ours so much.

I believe Force Relics have one available, not sure about other sources that are in the Mining Colony or Guild. FR have quite a good range of stuff so you could check them out :)

I've just completed one for a CF7 /18650 batt, with 1.14" OD ;)

shapeways.com is also a great substitute for anyone with CAD and enough experience to tool around. Printed and shipped to yur door
