Accent pads question, switch led not behaving
« on: January 12, 2016, 09:38:58 AM »
Hi all.
The more I get into all the features on the CF 7.5, the more I am impressed at it's flexibility.
Also some of the fine tuning is confusing, 1st time though I'm almost there!

So I have my AV led hooked to accent pad 8. It blinks while the blade is on, and while scrolling thru the menu.
What I want is for it to be always on while the blade is on ( globally ) and blink while in menu.
Also do not want it to blink while deep sleeping.

I can't seem to figure out the led sequencer parameters to make this happen. Am I on the wrong accent pad for this?
I have read the manual or I wouldn't have gotten this far =) This part is just not clicking in my brain.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks

it cannot blink during the menu as it displays either the pli or the current font # (with or without the glyph)

in deep sleep, use the idle led parameters (in each font) to not have it turning on. None of those situations use the led sequencer

Thanks Erv. What about having the led always on when the blade is on?
I'm a bit lost as to where that change is made, and how.

that's in the leds.txt sequence. Set your led on there, make eventually a short sequence looping there so that you don't need to define the whole sequence.
