mini qui gon mini story mini review. with pics.

Hey there. Well i got my mini qui gon today!  It was about time, i've been waiting since it was released, but i really didnt find any good ebay deal or anything like that, so i decided to get it directly from MR.  But i couldnt, cause of some shipping/website problems.  So i asked Stormtrooper TK-421 to help me, and he did. 

TK bought the collector's society pack for me, and then shipped it to barcelona.  And i got it today.
Thanks TK, it's nice how members in this forum help each other.  good work.

This was the last mini i needed to complete the regulars collection!

Now only the Vader ROTJ remains.  MR when?!?


Review:

I liked this saber.  It's not my favorite hilt, but i like it.  It's a nice design, I like how simple it is.
Simple but elegant.

The saber feels not as heavy as other minis.  But certainly not as light as the obi ANH weathered.
It has a nice finish, and it doesnt get fingerprints on it.

Overall it's a fine saber, and a must for the mini collectors.

Congrats on the mini Qui-Gon! ;D

I love mine and it is the pride of my collection. I have a feeling that it will become a very sought-after mini not unlike the Obi-Wan AOTC.

I just wish I had an Obi-Wan AOTC...maybe one day I will be able to find one.

Not a chance.  I have my collecting plans carefully planned out.  After I get my DL-44 complete my 1:1 TK-421 is going to be my big spending spree. 

I really have been considering building YOU, R2.  I love building things and that would certainly be a challenge.  Don't think I would ever have the time or money for that kind of project though.  Having a full scale R2 unit would def be sweet though.

I received my Qui Gon last week  and love it specially the deep shiny black coloring of it.
I also made pictures exactly like yours on a same looking colored wooden table.
While reading this review I really did go up to check the name, to see if I didn't put this review myself, hahaha.
(It was verry late when I took the pictures and started to try my own review.)
I like your review, and because you didn't use your flash, we can see the striped cut openings in the hilt verry good.

I loved the mini's so much (I ordered it by MR together with a complee Maul mini), that I instantly ordered myself 9 other mini's

-Anakin AOTC
-Yoda (ugly one, but I wanted to see the zise diference)
-Mace Windu ROTS
-Obi ROTS
-Dooku
-Sideous
The four last sabers, but especially the three last sabers, are the most beautyfull shiny juwels and definately worth the money. (Really must haves)

The Obi Wan Kenobi,... do you want to sell it to me?
It's the ONE for me.

I shall make a long review with pics of all the mini's I have.
