Nice update.  I have to say that this is just too cool.  Best saber stand I have ever seen.   I think your def on to something here.  I can see this prototype evolving into so much more.

I have just completed my mock up in 3ds max. I want to make the final prototype out of solid black anodized aluminum. AND it will have a recharge port on it so you can plug up any type of saber with a recharge port. (thanks to Grand Moff Tarkin for the idea) I am going to strip out the electronics of a trustfire charger so the barrel leds will give you status of the charge... IE red for charging and green for charged.... so...It may take some time to realize the project but I will let everyone know when it is complete.  ;D

I have seen these pipes to you and in the chamber of the master Yoda!!
I cannot obtain them!!!  :-\
I want to realize some modification with  fiber optic in my crystal chamber ;)

I have a very small "Mom & Pop" hobby store near me that specializes in electric trains and boats. They carry small brass tubing there in various sizes. You may want to check your nearest hobby chain store or try to find a small one like I did.
