Goth3d Chassis/KR Blade holder fit issue

I"m having a somewhat difficult time putting my electronics into my saber. Everything's wired properly, and it works well. My problem is trying to put the finished electronics, blade holder. and chassis into my roman props replica Graflex. It seems to gets stuck on something on the inside of the flash tube. Should I sand the blade holder and chassis until it fits? I'm using a Goth3d Knight variant 1 chassis and a KR sabers blade holder.

Have you removed the slide button  from the front half?

Sanding could help. I have this issue every time i convert a Force FX Anakin. The conversion kit is simply to wide for a comfortable fit and gets jammed easily. Sanding with 1000 grain helps.
