Pl9823 accent question part 2
« on: March 10, 2020, 12:43:15 PM »
Hi all.
So I’ve wired in the accent pixel the customer wants to use. It *appears* to be wired correctly, however only lights on a clash or blaster block.
And only one color.
Is this just a config issue?
I have it wired parallel with main but with data to ls2.
Thanks

Declared as aux blade or trident?
If you have special effects keep in mind they will be computed on their own but over one pixel only.
To rule out the ignition scroll over 1 pixel only, set your ls2 blade config to several pixels. I've played with this on the dev board but rarely with a single pixel, rather 5-6

Which would be better for a crystal then, aux or trident? I will make the change to 5-6 pixels accordingly.

for the record, I just tested an aux blade with a single pixel and it lights up like normal including the power off fx that has a white tail. For mirror, I would use an aux blade
