As we were doing some Spring Cleaning last month, we found a limited supply of our 2005 Collectors Society Membership Kits just gathering dust in our warehouse. (This kit, for those of you who do not remember, was the only place that you could obtain the highly sought after Full Darth Maul Lightsaber Scaled Replica!)
Well, they’re not doing us any good sitting in storage, and so we’ve decided to make the 2005 CS kits available to 2006 Collectors Society members. Man when I purchased my 2005 collector society kit I never recieved a membership card. When I called MR they weren't able to help me with it either.

Did you also notice in the letter they have found some obi wan ep 3 elite editions? Wish I could get my hands on one of those babies :D

I don't know. The Obi Ep3 really isn't my favorite, but if they got more of those Obi Ep4 EEs in I'd be all over it, with its movie accurate high-gloss finish, it really is just perfect! :D

The alphabet soup is fun and all, but I really do think that before long we're going to get a weathered Obi EE from MR given the found parts issue. Or maybe I've just put too much stock in all those RS grumbles. :D

It's an exclusive to 2006 CS members (so if you are already in the CS you'll need to sign in), but it doesn't seem to be limited to how many you can pick up. ;)

I don't really like to buy from ebay cause sometimes it's a ripoff. That would be nice if someone can get it for me, but I don't know how would that work.

I was just kidding about the ebay thing. Since these are available from MR again, there's no need to pay the outrageous prices that some ebay sellers are asking for them.
Funny that you memtioned an ebay ripoff. The only time I've been burned on ebay was on a Maul CS mini. Luckily, PayPal refunded my $$.

I know, I know you were J/K. Sometimes I do shop if it's a good deal and if the seller has good reputation, other than that I try to avoid ebay.

It sucks that they made a horrible exclusive (IMO, anyway) with the 2006 sets, because I would totally buy the '05 set if it came with the 06 coupons. I guess it would have been too convenient for them to have made that an option.....It's pretty messed up that I'd have to pay $110 to get that full Maul mini, because I've been after that one for several months now. If there are any 06 CS members feeling charitable today, please PM me! ;D

Well it really is a matter of the coupons for me for the 06 CS, I've already made back my membership dues this year, and last year I really saved a ton. If you're gonna order from MR in any amount it really is something to consider, goofy looking Mace or not. :D
