That would look great! You might want to do some light weathering it to it as well to match the rest of the saber.

PLEASE tell me you are going to go with a different switch option.

If this is stunt, I rec. putting the switch on the bottom, so you won't have to drill out the side of the Graflex clamp...and it won't take away from the overall look of the saber.

Again, it's your saber, this is just my opinion for aesthetics.  ;)....as a Luke V2 aficionado

  First off...... this probably won't be a stunt......hopefully.  Second~
wether it is or not..... I'll be using a slide switch and will drill in the box and keep it nice and discrete.  ~

The switch will be on the activation plate.

a small tactile in the clamp will be easier than a slide switch.  Plus with the pololu board you can run it with a puck if you need to (that board also has a tiny mom switch that fits perfectly in the clamp without modification).

So..... my last update till I can get a hold of a soundboard....

It's hard to see the weathering due to the light.... but it's there.... right before the blade emitter.....on the neck centerband and right below the activation plate.~

This look is just a bit more unique.  Also....the black....is duller thanks to a weathering agent given to me by Madcow!  thanks!~

Here's a teaser....
Now to some of the juicy details!  (lol...not really)   ;)

I added a GOBB of paint into the holes of blade holder 8.... this looks awesome!

  And with a blade installed!

Who likes this?~
I know one guy that does....
  Qui Gon does!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

Hey guys!  A few things.....my computer has been out for about a week now and I am in fact typing this from a friends computer.  So just a quick update.

I am wiring it today and will hopefully have it done by the end of the day.

My computer SHOULD be back up soon.  But until that happens I won't be on hardly at all.  Take care ya'll!

Alrighty!  An update!  (Still from my friends computer)

I got the speaker, switch, and battery pack wired.  Then I just tested the LED with the board.

It turned on ok but when I hit the clash sensor the sound and light sputtered.  Now normally I would just hook up a Hasblow clash sensor but I didn't have one available.  It just seemed like a waste of money to go and buy a saber just for the clash sensor when some little kid could be having fun with it.

So.....for now.......this saber has no clash sounds.  That's ok however because this is not a dueling saber at all......but it will make a REALLY nice show piece.

Probably won't be on for a little bit but until then...... TAKE CARE YA'LL!

It's done!  And I must say my finest yet....even without the clash.  It's my favorite movie saber and in my opinion....this one is very accurate!

My computer should be up and running by the beginning of next week.  My dad is coming home for good!  Yessssss!

I'll check in here and there until then.  Thank you all for the support and God bless....and may the Force be with you!  (Medal Ceromony Song Plays....you know at the end of ANH or maybe more apporopriatley....the Victory Celebration Song.  I like that one!)   ::)

Thank you all AGAIN for making this great saber possible!
