LB Custom Axis Saber for Jedicri

Hello All,

This is a saber build for Jedicri here on the forums. This is an Axis Ven Zallo Saber that he sent me months back and asked me to do a complete overhaul on it. This saber was a major challenge for me to do and I had to change a lot of things in order for it to work up to my standards. The saber housed a CF6 and a CEX and at that time, the saber did not work at all. I had MH repair the board for me and I then decided to have the customer upgrade to the NEW CF7. I did this because the way I wanted to showcase the board, it wouldn't look right unless it was nice and clean. I also thought that this would be a good saber to showcase Erv's latest and greatest. The CEX also was an issue because it wouldn't fit correctly because of the limited space. I decided to not use that feature and instead had MH doll up the CF7 with 4 onboard smd accent led's, (Thanks Chewy!!). I had space leftover in the small neck part of the saber where the CEX was crammed in and instead put two quartz crystals with green illumination backing them up. The saber has been polished and is now back in service.
Here are the specs:

LB Custom Ven Zallow Saber for Jedicri. Saber. contains a CF7 with 4 smd accent led's on board, 14500 battery pack running  at 7.4v, Tri-Rebel RGB with green as main and red and blue as the FoC, two quartz crystals with green 5mm accent leds, 2w bass speaker, R.I.C.E. and recharge port in pommel and brass activation card.

Steve, thanks soo much for all the work put into this.  This, literally, is a long time coming stretching back to early February/March 2013.  Can't wait to get this saber in my hands.

This turned out awsome. I've always been a fan of these hilts, I think If I ever got my hands on an empty, I would have to go for the CEX board as well to allow that color change option. However, if you want a solid color, nothing wrong with that at all :)

I personally love this hilt.  SWTOR has given us some awesome additions to the lightsaber lexicon.

Judging from the sabers you have, you and I have similar taste in saber design --- I really dig your saber collection.  In terms of form and design, this Axis falls in the same vein as your other sabers where the shroud and slanted emitter are concerned.

Unfortunately had to ditch the CEx but at least there isn't much of a cram-fu now which makes the saber no longer problematic where that is concerned.

To be honest, I would've preferred the CEx board to be in there but it became problematic as mentioned above.  But since it's a Ven Zallow saber, I'm happy to settle for a green blade.

Yes, that's correct, this hilt is from the Kit Fisto Axis run a year ago.
