I would like to purchase one, if the v2 is still available.

Do you anticipate another run of boards?

Thanks for clearing that up Andras.

Are you out of stock for now until the next run?

I'm still pumping out the homebrew for prototypes but once I have my better hilts I'll be needing some (5 hopefully).

Thanks for the great work.

I increased the number of boards to 25, I still have stock as of now, I guess I have stock reach till the new movie comes out. If all the slots are filled, just ask, and if I still have boards I will make room for your order.

Next year I will do a restock. I still have white PCB boards wo/MPU which I will probably reroute to the lightsaber cause.

Just thought I would say how much I am enjoying these boards.  Ran into a minor bug at first, but given the open source nature of the software, I had all the tools to solve it myself...but I didn't have to.  Obi_1 responded right away and fixed the bug asap.  What a great product -- nice work!  Love that its open source and community driven.

I built three neopixel sabers, and all work very nicely.  The hardest part of the assembly was figuring out how to mount the usb ports so they can be accessed without opening up the hilt.  Maybe one of the saber parts manufacturers out there can build a pommel insert with a usb port or something.  I tried to machine a USB-C slot with mixed success, and will probably try making an insert with a 3d printer next...a plastic piece that fits into a round hole will work best so it requires only a drill rather than a mill.  Other suggestions welcome...

I'm glad you like it, always happy to receive honest feedback. Now that the user base is growing fast people try a lot of different combinations offered by the open source code, on and off bugs can happen but usually they can be fixed in a matter of a few minutes. That's great about open source and programmable boards in my opinion, you can always have the latest-and-greatest code and fixing minor things or even making custom tweaks can be done easily.

If you have some videos to share, please do so!!!

I've got a 3D printer for Xmas, next thing I will try will be a chassis with a USB port. If you make progress with it, I would be happy if you could share, I'm just starting out with 3D printing myself.

I've been using 1/8"/3.5mm TRRS (four conductor) jacks for USB to make installation easier.  So far it works great.  There are cheap, pre-made cables readily available because iPod Shuffle used an audio jack charging scheme, although for anyone who has made a saber making one of these cables from scratch should be pretty trivial!

Hi Obi_1, I'm thinking about building a neopixel saber, and this board looks great, love that the software is open-source. Keep up the good work!

First run of Stardust v2 is completely sold out!

Nevertheless I'm aiming to have a restock soon. I'm reallocating my blaster stock to have the MPU's mounted and mid-term I have a few new gadgets you will love to hear about :)
