Can't watch the video at work so I am curious about the OD of the body and emitter?
Thank you Photobucket for the best Sig ever!

If these new sabers are half as good as the Threshold, then I'm in.  How much for an empty saber and a blue switch?  Also, are these the same ID as the Threshold?  Just thinking of chassis options.

Bonus Pics of my Threshold (one of my favs) with a CF8:

Can't watch the video at work so I am curious about the OD of the body and emitter?

Outside diameter  of the main body is 1.45.

Emitter OD is 1.45 with the top flange being 1.70.   Takes 1 inch blades

Darth PJs:   Inner diameter is 1.25

Hope that helps

I received my hilt and it is amazing!  Just as good fit and finish as the Threshold. I'm trying to figure out what mods I might make. Thinking of maybe installing a Spark 2 but they are out of stock. Thanks!!!!

Habbena, love the look of this hilt!

Couple questions before I (probably) send you money ;) :

How much room is there between the switch and the heatsink assembly? Enough room for a soundboard? How about between the RC port and the pommel?
The description says the box is threaded for the RC port, but the pictures show the hex nut on top. I'm not a fan of an exposed hex nut, is that required?
Can you show how that heatsink assembly works?
Last, is there a pommel cap/grill of some sort? I can't tell from the pictures...

Thanks, and congrats on yet another beautiful design!

Hey!  Per your questions:

-The control box is threaded, not need to put a hex nut on if you don't want.  I like the look, but it certainly isn't necessary.

-There is a Pommel (anodized gold) that is threaded to accept a speaker/speaker holder.

-There may be enough room between the heatsink and switch for a board, but it depends on which board : )

-There is plenty of room for any board between the RC port and pommel.

-I'll see if I can get a video made of how to put together the heatsink assembly.  It is really easy and helps preserve some space in the body.  I'll PM you the video, hopefully by Thursday

Any other questions let me know

Kind regards

Habbena

Regarding the pommel, I'm thinking more about a speaker grill in the pommel, something like TCSS's Modular Pommel System? Or more simply, is there a grill which covers the speaker?

I look forward to seeing the heatsink in action, and I'm excited about possibly picking one up. Thursday IS payday after all... ;) Can you also PM me your details for purchasing? Thanks Habbena!!

These have an open hole design on purpose (I think the sound is more robust with an open pommel).  MPS inserts will work but they don't fit exactly like the MPS pommels would as they are not designed for such.   About 1 in 5 people that purchase the RTI hilts are interested in having a pommel insert, so I am going to get some inserts made  that will work for those who want them.  These will be about 2 weeks out though.

Also, I PMd you my Paypal address.  Let me know if you have anymore questions.  Thanks

Habbena
