They are defintely not built with dueling in mind and not recommended for that certainly.

Oh yea...not going to be dueling with them at all.  The second one has clear coat on the copper sections to prevent patina so it will stay nice and shiny.  The first will weather and look aged as time goes on which suits me fine.  And one of each sound font as well.  I still can't say enough how awesome these sabers are.  I'm still astonished to hold one and marvel at the fact that it's a near perfect 1:1 replica of the Hero saber used in ROTJ and that just a mere few months ago it was nothing but chunks of raw alluminum and copper.  I mean they even machined the fricken LED's because they couldn't find triangle ones anymore.  How cool is that?

If you're considering getting one of these....DO IT.  That's all that needs to be said.

Haha, I would nearly die to obtain one of these.
The only problem is that if I did have one, I wouldn't trust myself with it.

and I'm extremely paranoid about dropping sabers...
