V2 (LS6) for Fetts Vett

V2 for Fetts Vett

This saber started life as my last LS6.  It was weathered and triple baked and clear coated.  The cone knob is a custom.  I also used my last Lux III green in this saber since both are the last of an era for me.  I opted to go with a classic "green" card so that the power on LED would act like a faux bargraph.  the effect is very cool in person (looks like a fuel gauge that is half full).  The Font is none other than Madcow's EPIC "Hero".  Sound holes are all hidden ala my MKIII's and the speaker is in "reverse sound" orientation.

This is just wizard. I love all the V2s every sabersmith and DIYers have done. I actually have 2 Park Arc Waves sitting on the nightstand. One's empty, the other has the phaseblade electronics in it.

Quick question, how is the sound being vented out? Through the recharge port alone? or has sound been reversed and is being vented through the graflex clamp. Great job!!!

Looking at your selected build pics I'm trying to see how the speaker was mounted. I see a screw in place to keep the clamp in a static position. The speaker must be facing towards the emitter, but wouldn't the battery back and sound board be obsructing the sound? The hum sounds low in the video, but the blaster blocks are crisp. Thoughts?

That is just the font man.  It has a low hum ;)
