Great looking saber for your first build, once you have the new soundboard I think your going to be one happy saber nut, just like the rest of us, there's nothing like building your own saber.
I don't know, i gotta bad feeling about this!

Update 7

I got my nano biscotte and wired it all up but only one of the 3 LEDs is working and its making no sound. Help??

EDIT: I got the LEDs working. I screwed up the power xtender board but i dont need it for my green/green/white setup to work so thats good. Sound still doesnt work and im still checking to hopefully find what i did wrong.

I have not touched anything on the SD card. just popping it in and out to test my wiring.

I'm not sure what the default parameters are, but you'll probably need to set the drive parameter on the SD card. Make sure you take some time to read through all of the parameters in the manual for the NB.

Update 7.5

I look very carefully at it and discovered that the problem is most likely with the speaker itself. I tried fixing it but in the process of trying to remove the solder I got it everywhere so that speakers busted. Fortunately its a cheap part so no biggie. If thats not it then oh boy

anyways heres a pic, I need to get the wires organized once I get the speaker hooked up

See if by chance you don’t have a bridged wire possibly on the speaker pads. I go over mine with a loop just to check. One pesky loose wire can cause problems.

this is probably the stupidest question ever but what do you mean by going over it with a loop?

Probably talking about using a voltmeter to check for proper continuity.

Sorry yes Jewlers loop, but yes checking to see if the speaker wires are getting power would be great. If they are you know your speakers bad.

I found something that could've been bridging after carefully examining it? I'm not sure? I carefully took an xacto knife and made sure there wasnt anything between the two speaker leads. I'll still need to wait for the new speaker to arrive since the old one got ruined

Update 8:

I got the new speaker in and discovered that I did in fact mess up the first speaker, everything else works perfectly thank goodness. I'm going to put the final touches on, weather the new switch and grind down the slothfurnace card to fit and then I'm done! I'll post a detailed overview of the saber in the gallery when thats all done
