51TH Commando 2.0, a dueling saber line by LDM--July Sale 2016

51TH Commando PVTM (Production Version) Proof of Concept

With the pleasant success of my Malakyte Saber line, I decided to augment my regular products with a more Sithly offering.  This presented me the opportunity to bring one of my most successful series of sabers into the production arena and therefore make them available at a much lesser price to more folks.  The 51TH Commando PVTM is that saber.  It is the natural evolution of my 51TH Commando sabers, the V6 if you will.  It employs the same double-chock architecture as the MalakyteTM sabers for awesome spin-ability.  The electronics are also installed in the exact same manner to ensure extreme durability for those who wish to duel with some level of vigor.  They will be available in whatever color scheme a person wants.  The "stock" version will be as seen in the following thread, the "Tactical" version.  This is a monochrome color scheme (the production model would have a black button vs. the red one on the POC) that is lightly weathered black that looks well used but not abused.  This is the saber of a Sith trooper, a front line warrior who must have a solid and functional weapon to survive!  At the time of this posting, I will be taking orders.  Turn around time should be about 2 weeks (just like the MalakytesTM).

POC Particulars:
Crystal Shard v1

3.7V Li-ion, recharge in pommel

Wow, these look awesome. I love the black powdercoating on this one. Great work as always, LDM. I can't wait to see what you and others create with these, as there is so much creative potential here.

Question: With the stunt version, is it set up so that one could easily install sound themselves?

Ah, man!   I hate seeing things that I NEED.

I've broken Juggers in half, smashed their bones, left the ground behind me wet with brains. There's nothing I wouldn't do to win. But I never hurt anyone for any reason other than sticking a dog's skull on a stake.

Yes.  They are exceptionally easy to work with (They were designed that way on purpose ;) )

What would be awesome would be a pair -- one 51 PV and one Malakyte -- both oxium weathered of course.  One light side, one dark...  Darn, I wish I did not spend all of my mad money for the century!  And too bad the price of gold is dropping.   10 lbs of gold isn't what it was worth five months ago... ;'(.

And no, I do not have 10 pounds of gold stashed in my bunker.

Either hilt would indeed be Awesome in Oxidium Weathering.

Knurling is indeed possible on 51TH's as are leather wraps.  Virtually anything that folks want.

That could get a bit expensive, but it could be so ;) ...Just remember, I charge a hefty finder's fee for diamond procurement.
