Shadar's Lamnia Verus "Mr Green"
« on: March 26, 2010, 05:18:10 PM »
I proudly present to you, Lamnia Verus. (Its Latin, look it up )

Some of you may have been following my build log for this, and understand the transformation this saber has undergone in the last few months. I had to ditch the crystal pommel which really bummed me out but i like the way it turned out overall.

Special thanks to Jay Gon and Fender for their last minute advice. Without you I would not have wired this up so easily ;)

Specs:
MHS parts (Custom Choke THANKS TIM!)
PC (Solar Flat and Xtreme Chrome)
Luke ANH 2005 (Jedi Board)
Illuminated AV (Green)
4x AAA Rechargeable Tenergy 1000mA
Recharge Port
Reverse sound
P4 Green driven at roughly 1A
Thinwalled 34" Blade Double Wrap Corbin Film and 6ft of PolyP

(yes, i fit all that in there....)

On to the pics! (Click for a larger version)

This image came out fairly close to how it looks in person. I adjusted the focus etc to get a good exposure.

And of course, THE VIDEO!

Nicely done, that looks like a great spinner :)

Time will bring the real end of our trial.  One day they'll be no remnants
