Graflex Crystal Core saber Chassis
« on: October 25, 2023, 09:39:13 AM »
Hello everyone :)

I come back on the forum after a long time beeing absent.

I bought a long time ago a chassis from Yoda and never had the time to build it.
I wanted to ask the community if there is a video about building the YODA Graflex Crystal Core saber Chassis in the version below, and maybe have some information on how modify the system so it can accept Neopixel blade :)

It would be really easier for me to have this kind of video in addition with the building booklet.

Does this exist ?

Thank you all :)

That chassis was designed to use two 14500 Li-Ion cells for 7.4 volts (too much for a neopixel blade, IIRC), which likely wouldn't be able to handle the current draw of a neopixel blade. Those require at minimum an 18650 high drain type of cell.

Hello !
Thanks for your reply !
I will use a led instead, ok 👍

However, is there a video to help me build this chassis ?

I never made a building video for it only the instruction manual but the manual is very thorough with a lot of pictures that cover the whole process. If you have questions post them here and I'll try to assist you best I can
