Adafruit Bluefruit BLE device vs RedBear BLE Nano 2?
« on: February 27, 2020, 08:46:11 PM »
I have a TeensySaber 3.0. I would like to add Bluetooth functionality to it, however the recommended RedBear BLE nano v2 is no longer being made. I bought the Adafruit Bluefruit BLE, but it doesn’t work out of the box with the Bluetooth web app.

I have gotten it to work using console commands over Bluetooth, but the experience is a little more clunky than a nice GUI.

Does anyone have any idea how I might need to modify the html of the web app to function with the adafruit module?

The recommended bluetooth modules for saber boards are these days BT630 and BT909, you can buy them from TCSS, SaberBay Etsy store, me (ShtokCustomWorx) and KR-sabers (TheSaberArmory). Also these modules are mentioned in the PDF user manual for TeensySaber v3 and Proffieboard v1.5 and v2.2 boards, please read.
