Now that the sabers are done (mostly) and shipped out (mostly), the workspace down in my basement looks sparse and empty.
The biggest mistake I made in this whole process is not letting the people around me know what kind of an enormous time crunch this would be. I told my wife I'd be working long hours, but she wasn't prepared for what she got. Now that she knows, she's supportive of my doing limited runs from time to time. Maybe one a year or something. Something to give me a nice goal to achieve and give us a little extra to put towards our bills.
Slightly off topic, but keep an eye peeled in the Trade Federation for more stuff coming up for sale. There's extra parts and pieces from this run and from other projects I want to clear out in the next couple of weeks.
