BabelCon 07/17/09, Baton Rouge, Louisiana

We are making final preparations for our trip to BabelCon. We will be arriving Friday Afternoon/Evening. We have a table in the Merchant's Room and should be situated by Saturday Morning.

I'm curious as to who all from FX-Sabers will be attending and if you all would like to get together either Friday or Saturday Night somewhere around the vicinity of the convention, maybe grabbing a nice meal somewhere, ...

I'm honestly not sure what to expect, this is a small convention, but we plan on enjoying ourselves nonetheless, so, who all have plans to show up?

I didn't follow this at ALL, but interestingly enough my wife and kids and I are flying into Baton Rouge friday afternoon and renting a car to drive up to Natchez, Miss to visit some relatives.  Where is this thing going on at?  maybe I'll see if I can talk the wife into hanging around friday evening and meeting anybody there, or possibly letting me escape saturday and come visit :-)

Tomorrow night is Private screening of the new Harry Potter movie for BabelCon guests, ...hopefully we can hit that.

Sure wish u coulda snuck aboard the plane in some of Master Offee's luggage, I'm sure you coulda fit in the suitcase she packed her shoes in.

Seriously guys, I wish I could have been there too, but I'm saving my money for my Hong Kong trip. There's always next year!

It was a lot of fun.

Got home about an hour ago and it was awesome getting to meet more local saber enthusiasts.  CHEWBACCA and Master Jedye are a riot.  BARRISS is an endless source of fun ;)   morrisart85 was good to meet you and wish you coulda chilled with us more.

Can't wait for the incriminating pics and vids.

Relatives had a nice schedule of activities and fooding for us which didn't allow time to stop by, though I would have loved too!  Hope fun was had all around.
