Tubing cutting jig

I designed this simple tubing cutting jig to help with cutting small diameter tubing like many of us use in crystal chambers and posted it free to download on thingiverse

It's small enough to print with just about any 3D printer, 60mm x 36mm x 25mm.  You should be able to print it in what ever rigid material you have on hand.  I used clear PETG because I've been printing blade part prototypes.

The trough design will hold the tubing securely while you grip it with one hand.  You shouldn't need a clamp or anything to hold it down, but it could be held in a vice if you like.  I was always really frustrated with the typical metal box, so I whipped this up and I'm really happy with it.  I considered putting some holes at the bottom of the slots so it could double as a bending jig.  I may add that later.
