I've had this Parks Graflex for about 2 weeks, awaiting the arrival of my US2. It is due to arrive Monday, so I figured I'd get everything else ready.
First I added the cosmetics - grips, thumbscrew, shortened brass pin screws. It's amazing, I get chills every time I look at it...
Tactile momentary switch should be no problem with US2

I decided to go a different route than a beautiful interior with a crystal chamber and viewable chassis (not that I could design one anyway) and decided instead to focus on run-time, thus installing 2 18650 2600mah li-ion cells (which will give about 3.5 hours) and a recharge-port. The US2 will be hot glued to the top of the batteries which are secured to the PVC chassis. I also put the speaker at the front of the saber (tested with a MR board) and it actually produces very nice sound coming out of the front of the hilt and the few mid body holes. Nice!
I've always wanted this saber, since I was a wee lad, and it seems that in two days, my dream will come true =)
