My Obi Wan TPM Elite Edition

Hey folks.  I just snagged an Obi EE off ebay and it was delivered yesterday.  I was so stoked to learn I had won the auction and was waiting on pins and needles for the mailman to deliver it.  I love this saber!  It is by far the most beautiful thing I have ever seen when it comes to collectibles...

I've seen reviews of this saber posted here before, so I won't bore you with another one.  Lets just say I love this work of art and be done with it :)

Now, to wait for delivery of my new Storm Trooper Blaster and Rebel Trooper Blaster...sah-WEET!

That is indeed one of the nicest sabers in the MR line, and definitely one of my faves.

Hmmmm...the only thing keeping me from getting this EE is Master Yoda's Negotiator :P

Actaully no, the TPM was only made as an EE. 

They released the AOTC version as an LE.

Thanks Obi. MR made some strange decisions towards the end. That's a great looking saber, how does the quality compare to the AOTC LE? Is it noticeably better?

They're both stunning in their own way, however, there's a premium on the EE because it's made of Stainless Steel. 

I would provide more details, but if you want an in-depth comparison between the two, look no further than Emperor Palpatine's recent review of the AOTC LE.  He included a very thorough comparo of the two sabers that you should definitely check out:

Hands down the best lightsaber hilt design ever  ;D. I gotta try to find this some day, the prices for Obi TPM EE are just a bit salty for me at the moment  :-\.
