thanks guys. I just downloaded Lord Blako's Count Dooku font and Darth Xusia's Dooku font (both sound amazing) so I'll be loading those up shortly.
photos are uploading now and should be posted within a few minutes, but just in case, I wanted to go over the tweaks I made yesterday.
I just messed with the sd card really but there was one mechanical improvement I made. The pommel was held on by a single screw before that was very loosely threaded (from MR) into the pommel coupler. It served no real purpose other than to hold the pommel loosely to a single point on the coupler. It still was loose from there, so I knew I needed to make some kind of threaded joint that attached to the pommel itself, so when I screwed in the screw, it actually held the pommel rather than just serving as a loose pin. I re-tapped the original threads to 6-32 and made a very short threaded brass standoff from a piece of 3/16" tubing. I screwed that on to a modified 6-32 button head screw, and screwed the whole thing into the pommel. It fit perfectly into the hole in the pommel, requiring no adhesive (which surprised me) and it is now a rock solid attachment that can't even move by force.
Unfortunately, my speaker is sounding raspy again (not sure what the problem is) so it either needs replaced AGAIN or there is possibly a small piece of swarf floating around in the pommel that I missed when I tapped the coupler for 6-32. I'm going to open it back up shortly and figure out which it is. I do have one theory if the speaker is blown again (peeled membrane) but I really hope I am wrong. My theory is that when I have to hold the speaker in place to epoxy it, just me applying light pressure to the edge of the top of the speaker is too much for the membrane to handle. Over time, the glue (that holds the membrane on the speaker) weakens, and then it blows.
I'm hoping it's just a small piece of swarf floating around that got caught in the rear of the speaker.
