For a friend of mine, who does some almost professionnal fencing and swordplay. Not a saber from Mr Original, sort of in the line of telum infensus, modified MHS parts, and I might add some heatshink on the grips.
Simple and sleek line since it's for "real" use, so no control box, big knobs etc. Since I don't like symetry, some visual indicators on one side only. Internal craddle retained with a single headless screw.
Ah... it has omnisaber since it will be used in live performance, just like the other sabers I made for them. Like telum infensus, it has in the hilt sound AND wireless sound. If you want to use only the wireless system, just set mute to 1 in the config.txt of the bank of your choice.
To get something practicle, he will probably get 3 banks only, dupplicate them and get the 3 first with in the hilt sound, the 3 others identical (same sound banks / files) but muted and omnisabers to play the sounds.

Thanks for building this SABER for me - I'll take Two more! LOL!! ::) 2 BLT on TEXAS size TOAST PLEASE!! :D
-
Ooooh very nice indeed, Erv! Is that an 18650 battery set up you have there? Could we have a little demo of Omnisabers? Pretty please? :P
-
yep it's a stick of 2 18650 ! long batt lifetime !
My next saber will have omnisaber, so I'll finally have a duelling kit for a demo. Except telum infensus, all the omnisabers system I've made were sold and used by professionnal team and I have nothing left of a demo lol.

Simple, but impressive.
I really like simple hilt designs like this one:)
We have to talk about a wireless soundsystem for more than two sabers, definitively ;)
-
I know ;D ;)
see you at facts !

The simple saber designs usually are more pleasing to wield. Sometimes the extra lights and buttons catch your skin, or make you drop the saber.
A simple design with function at its core.

Simple, but impressive Erv. ;)

Simple may be one way to put it, but for being some streamlined with relaly good detail that would be perfect for spinning is great! I have a lot of different saber types and the one I almost always go back to spin with is the one that is simple. This one has a ton more detail than it does so well done Erv. :)
