Thanks for the kind words. :D I pretty much have the diffuser solved, I just have to remake the flash strip more like the one in the manual so that there are no sharp edges to hang up on the foam diffuser. Haven't had the time. :-\
I had plans to make this a chambered saber for a long time (well over a year) but just couldn't see a good enough chamber for such a spectacular hilt. Then finally, I forced myself to pick a starting point and sat down for about 5 hours drawing and erasing (but mostly erasing) until it was to my liking. A few days of tweaking later, I had the design finished, and I started working. The more I did, the more I realized just how awesome this was gonna look in the end. I'm definitely proud of what I was able to accomplish every time I look at this saber.
Also, there may or may not be a V2 version planned. :-X
I do have a warning for CF-LS users though. When I originally put this together, I had a font that had the drive setting at ~ 50% of max (max is where it should be for this string). I originally got the idea from slothfurnace's obi. in one of his videos, he scrolled through the fonts and superimposed on the screen what they were. High brightness, high volume all the way down to low brightness, low volume. Setting the drive below 80% (number recommended by Erv) causes the PeX components on board to act as resistors and become extremely hot, which isn't good for those components. In my case, one of them blew and I had to strip the saber to repair the board. Moral of the story, just accept that your runtime will be limited with an LS build, and don't try to put a half brightness font. It was clearly a user error, and it seems incredibly obvious in hindsight, but I just wanted to share that with everyone so that no one else makes the same mistake.
