Hi Everyone!!
Well the other day much to my surprise I saw one of those mini masterreplicas lightsabers at radio shack and wow they are cool!!I bought a vader lightsaber and it has two modes for light up.
1-Flashing mode
2-solid mode
It is a cool saber for the price and at 10.00 not bad at all.Here are a couple of pics of my latest small toy lol :D :D

For the price they are not bad at all.They have on/off switches like the real sabers. ;D

Walmarts got something just like this only its alot brighter.Its used for fishing,I might get it.
Thats pretty cool for a mini saber ;D

Well darn I have been looking and looking for one of these for my padawan's christmas ornament this year. I was trying to make one and here you go.

Just checked RS online they have Vader, Yoda, and Luke ANH. The catch you get whatever they send you. Guess you have to get these in store only if you want a specific one.
And I will be hitting my local RS first thing when I get home. Save this "ornament" for next year I will. ;)

Thanks again Ben for the awesome find. I picked up my Luke ANH today. I just made it. All three RS were out I got the last one. Fortunately my wife had the good sense to call this morning and have them hold one for me. The lady said theseare the last ones as they have no more coming, EVER!
I am saving this for my son's christmas ornament the year he watches Star Wars.
If you guys can get your hands on one they are pretty sweet. Mostly metal hilt with some of the smaller parts being rubber. The blade is removable if you want to wear it. lol :D :D :D
Even the switch is placed so not to be seen. They did a great job for a $10 pocket flashlight.

I piked up the Luke ANH flashlight and the Vader laser pointer. I like the laser pointer better. The Luke is metal but it's painted silver. The Vader has a proper chrome body.
Sweet! Think you can convert it to Lux?
Not a Luxeon, but a Rebel would fit nicely!

Yeah the flashing mode is way too slow but still cool nonetheless. It will look cool on the tree flashing.

Hey, I went on their web site and they only showed the Vader and Maul. Are the other ones in store only or are they listed in a different place on their site?

I picked up the Yoda and Luke this morning at my local Radio Shack. The Vader was out. The manager said he was selling these things like hot cakes. He had 50 over the last 2 weeks and is down to a few left. I saw a couple more Yoda and Lukes. Plenty of Maul laser pointers.
Construction is plastic over metal. ( 3 ) AG-5 batteries and plenty of room for a larger LED (i.e. Rebel).
There not as bright as they should be but there is plenty of room for improvement. The hilt is not big enough for AG13 batteries so getting power to a Rebel LED could be a challenge.
I have comparison pictures between these and the MR scaled versions of the Luke and Yoda. The Yoda appears to be close to .45 scale just like the MR version...

Don't mix up the laser pointer with the flashlights. The only problem with going on line is you can't order a specific one you get them at random.

The little blade really lights up under a 1W Lux LED.
Wonder if I can stuff one in there somehow?
