It's cool that these are less than an inch I.D. to fit the Shard and keep them slim but for those not CS qualified who might want to buy a stunt and DIY convert it later will a NB also fit? Also will these be able to accept 1" blades or will they be 7/8"?

im hoping the blades are 1" i spar a lot with my sabers and would want the option to do so with these

We are doing our best to keep all sabers with 1" blades.  Some will have shallow blade holder depths, others won't.  Since Rebellion sabers are not being offered with blades (to keep costs to a minimum, especially where shipping is concerned), it is assumed most people have, or can get, a 1" blade pretty easily and inexpensively.

As far as internal sizes, it depens on the saber.  The KOTOR has 1 1/8" id.  We are trying to keep as many sabers as we can with at least a 1" bore.  Again, some designs have thin chokes so there will be some sabers with internal 'choked' sections between the blade and optic/LED setup.

Indeed.  A NB will fit.  Also, 1" blades will be standard.

Another Obi padawan hilt isn't so far fetched, seeing as he's lost his lightsaber in every one of the prequels.  Ironic joke about this weapon is your life, blah, blah, blah... Get a lanyard already, Kenobi! :D
