The wookie abridged thread:

ion wanted to know how big a .45 scale Anakin saber was
Kenobi told him
Darth Yoda thought it would be a good idea for someone to add an LED to one, (a .45 scale MR) ~ and he's correct, good idea!
Chewie thought Aluke made one
MJ confirmed and backed it up with proof
Darth Yoda added one post to his count
Master Skywalker prompts secondary reply from the wookie
Chewie creates post in thread that will most likely not be read.
MJ and Kel post before Chewie can finish this response

Ahhhhh, I see.   I thought my computer was broken.  Not showing a link or something.

Here's an Anakin.   I'm guessing it won't fit in your hand and it's around six feet tall.   :D     I'm getting punchy.  I think it's time to log off. LOL

Yes. You need a new computer. With Windows 7.lol  No seriously... :D :D ;)

The .45 scale sabers aren't very large. Roughly 5.5 inches maybe... at most... It's been a long time since I saw one in person, but IIRC, they are approximately .45 inches of the actual saber. ;) :D :D ;D take the saber length, multiply it by .45 and yuo get the length i would assume. Do the same for width as well and you get your rough dimensions.

Chewie... you need decaf... and Wookiee strength sedatives... ;) 8) ;D ;D Too funny... Too funny... :D

Luke... since when was Anakin a wizard? ;) :D :D The pointy rode is kinda Harry Potterish... :-X :-X :P

You can find some .45 sabers pretty cheap on ebay.  I've seen the Anakin and Obi ROTS sabers go for $15 shipped.  Some of the other cheaper sabers are the full darth maul saber and the sidious saber.  In fact I know right now somebody on the rebelscum forums is selling the full darth maul saber for 15 bucks brand new.

These are great!
I started collecting them when they were new. They were $35 a piece plus shipping from Master Replicas.
When I see how much the price went down, its kinda depressing. Haha
They're really cute. And easier to collect because they're so much cheaper than the LEs
They really didn't skimp on the details despite the size. They're really nice and sturdy.

I for one love the .45 sabers because I was able to collect most of them.  Also, I was able to display them with relative ease.  I could fit 2 filled display cases in the same area my SE Luke saber would sit.
