I find that Law enforcement and Jedi Order go hand in hand... after all any Jedi
is trying to do what's best for the common good and keep the peace ;)

As far as that goes, I think I am more of a sith than a jedi. I hunt down the opposition (crims). I am far more a sidious than an Obi-wan......... It's more fun to turn the crooks against each other by manipulation than to be a diplomat. Of course you can't have too many sith or the whole thing falls apart.

I guess being able to see both sides and knowing that you can get more out of someone with sugar and not salt, I am like Kenobi. Besides, being ex-military, I can be VERY hard and instill fear. But I've learned through being a bouncer for six years as to what I can accomplish physically, (plus over 20 years of martials arts with 10 applied and being an crazy gym-rat) I love the use of the "Jedi Mind-Trick" more than anything. It allows the accuseds to see what they have done wrong, even if they don't care. When court comes around, most become VERY sorry for what they have done. I feel like I've lost the battle of wits if I have to get physical. Takes me days to mope that up. :P Besides, I am a small guy. :D (6'1"; 235lbs)

I agree, it's fun to crack a hard crook mentally.

I love punching on with them (five years of boxing, thai, freestyle karate and bjj plus seven years of Army) but there is nothing more fun than taking a hard crook who's got some one hundred charges or so to their name into the interview room when they have a smug grin on their face thinking that they know it all and then in a calm voice, without threats simply using your noggin making them wish they had never been born as they change their storey six times on an interview tape before they snap and suddenly don't want to say anything more. I sometimes struggle not to laugh.

You guys received a heck of alot this year, eh? Here in Mid-North Ontario, we have less than a foot and a half. We haven't even reached -30'C yet. Kinda sucks this year. Used to seeing the 2+ feet of snow and feeling the -35'C to -45'C weather. It's like summer here.

I am getting fat for nothing.;)
