Woohoo I just recieved this package today.  I spent no time getting it on display and will post pictures as soon as I get my digital camera back.

It's funny how you say you rushed to display it, I actually tried to get some unpacking shots of my last LE (Qui-Gon) and I only managed to get three (only one of which was  in focus) before I just dropped the camera and enjoyed the process properly (if quickly).  There really is nothing quite like that first look at a new saber.  Congrats on your latest acquisition!

Theres no way I can take my time opening a saber box that Santa Clau-I mean the delivery man just brought.  You know what Mark Hamill said when MR asked him to sign 750 more plaques?  "NO! Thats not true...Thats impossible! NO, NO!" :D   Enjoy your new saber.

Very Cool!  I am eagerly awaiting the pics.

The Last LE I got(Han TESB) I was sure to take a ton of in depth packing photos.  As a reference for correct repacking.  I've done that Since my AOTC Mace FX, I think.   I'm a sucker for documenting things, heh heh.  I usually like to make it an experience and while I'm unpacking a certain replica I will have the movie playing on the TV.

May The Force FX Be With You!

I make it a point to tell anyone who buys one of my Graflex Replicas to Watch ANH while using it for the first time. :D 8)

Well when I first recieved the package it came in a Hp printer box.  Needless to say I was pretty confused until I saw the shipping address.  I didn't expect the package to arrive in 2 days lol.  So after multiple hours of waiting due to poker I had to rip it open.  Here are the photos as promised.

The white thing in the background is some remnants from a previous hobby.  I used to build christmas villages and sculpt the bases and mountains (the white thing in the pic) from styrofoam.  It looks really cool, like something from Hoth.  Plus I have lights installed into the back of it so when it lights up glitter crystals kinda sparkle to make it look like real snow.

Hey Lazbum

A sig edition is well worth it 8)

Can you tell me if it's hollow like a real Graflex?
Or is it a machined solid piece?

I'd suppose the top is at least partly a tube where the inner socket goes etc...
I may get one eventually to compare to an old Graflex I have here just to see 8)

Well on my ANH EE it's not hollow but oddly enough the spring on the flash end actually works. :D

From what I can tell on mine it seems to be a solid piece rather than hollow.  The only thing I think that is similar to the graflex is the bunny ears.  They move back and forth causing the emitter head to also move.

Looks great, lazbum. I'd like to see it compared to an LE. The plaque looks unique.
Hasbro Signature Series
Luke Skywalker ANH with Removable Blade
Obi-Wan Kenobi ROTS with Removable Blade
Darth Maul TPM with Removable Blade
Kit Fisto AOTC with Removable Blade
Luke Skywalker ROTJ

I think the ANH LE and SE are nearly identical, but I love the new style SE plaque. 8)
