Yeah plasma blades are basically neon. There's a pressurized gas in it that lights up a glass tube. It's very sensitive. I had one. It broke very easily. But it is nice looking.

oh, sorry to hear that. yes if its a glass tube then I can understand how they can easily break.

No, they aren't all solid, I bought my exar kun off him and it's hollow all the way through.
When I spoke to him, he said he bought them ten years ago off a dude from the rpf.
Although I check him often and he always has new hilts???
Anyways, it arrived fine so i have no gripes with him.
