I couldn't find it anywhere on the forum so I assume he hasn't had a chance chance to upload it yet. I also don't want to steal his well deserved thunder so I'll delete this if he posts his own topic but I'm so excited!

Hello everyone
Ice thank you for posting that and I'm leaving your original post as the starter
and I thank you for your enthusiasm and encouragement
I would like to give a BIG thank you to THE VERGE and Bryan for taking the time to
tell my story and in such a brilliantly done fashion.
I've had people ask me in the past about the history of things and I've never felt
the right vibe so to speak for putting it out there but...
after talking to Bryan and getting to know each other it was clear that they
could do it right and be able to incorporate both my experience as well as the
overall saber aftermarket that has come to be and its progressions over the years.
You guys are really good at what you do and we had a great time filming the piece. :afro:
Kind of like TFA there was a lot to cover in an allotted amount of time :cheesy:
I hope everyone enjoys watching and learning something along the way.
Again, Bryan I can't thank you and the Verge enough for the time and attention to detail spent
on the article and video so it could be showcased and presented properly to the fans.
and I hope your still enjoying your Graflex
May the Force be with you
always

This is a fantastic read, so cool to see Master Yoda and other fantastic sabersmiths getting recognition for the incredible contributions they made to this hobby and the Star Wars universe in general. :)
-
Congratulations Master Yoda.
It was a great article, and the video was great as well. Hopefully we'll meet again in the not too distant future.

They did a great job  we've all come a long way since the beginning

Thank you for that and with the conventions and gatherings to come I'm sure we will
have another gathering someday

Hey all, Bryan from The Verge here. Thanks for reading and sharing the story — and once again, thank you to Master Yoda, Vader's Vault, Erv, and the other members of the saber community that were kind enough to talk about the work they've been doing over these many years.
Personally speaking, I came to FX and the other forums as a fan first, and found the work so impressive that I couldn't believe it hadn't been covered in-depth before. After diving into it as a story, I discovered even more creativity, collaboration, and goodwill than I'd anticipated. (Not to mention an ever-growing collection of sabersmiths and companies creating compelling works of art.)
So additional thanks are due to all of you, the other talented sabersmiths and hobbyists that we couldn't fit into a single article, for the work you've done to advance this hobby. It's been amazing to see how things have evolved in such a relatively short window of time, and I'm even more excited to see how it will evolve in the years to come!
In the meantime, I'll just be over here slowly building my saber collection. :-) #cantstopwontstop

The pleasure was all mine for my part and I'm glad we could be of service
I hope this will be the start of many good things to come

Thanks Yoda. I can barely contain my excitement about the new Chassis and Vintage Graflex run coming up and this video hasn't helped one bit! lol I've seen the video and read the article once but I'm going to do it again over lunch. It's that good!
Well done to the Verge and Master Yoda for all their hard work. I'm happy to be a part of this (even if its a incy wincy bit from a fan of your work). Attention to detail is something I feel quite strongly about, whatever I do or purchase. It's quite nice to see the lengths to which you go to in order to get one of these sets completed. The workmanship is second to none so once again, great work. Looking forward to both the 2.0 Chassis and the Vintage Graflex run. I've got my name down for both but lets hope my bank permits haha

What an awesome look at what goes on inside these vintage Graflex builds...

This article was highlighted on The RPF news feed a few days ago and was over the moon to see Master Yoda at work! I doubt you will find anyone in this hobby who wasn’t impacted in some way by either Yoda or the forums themselves and I know I am personally one of them.
Congrats on the well-deserved press as it could not of happened to a better/more talented individual to represent what this hobby and its enthusiasts are all about!

Wow that's an awesome article.
I felt great reading it. I don't really have words for how that made me feel. Magical.
Really great piece with a lot of information, very cool to read about Michael and VV and 'Erv and all the others mentioned in the article. So cool. Seems like they really took the time to learn about sabers and Michael's life and then wrote the article.

I actually saw this article circulating on Facebook, congrats to everybody involved!

Great article! I loved seeing Yoda's work on such an intimate level and learning a little about the modern history of sabersmithing.
It is also a good reminder of why Disney/Lucas leaves us alone; we're a market that they don't care to tap into. They'd rather focus on mass production stuff. Comparatively, there's not nearly as much money in this market for them to bother with. It's not like I'd rather buy one of their lousy Hasbro sabers, so they're not losing any money.
All around, positive stuff. :azn:

Really impressive stuff, Yoda! Congrats on the recognition of such a nice story and result.

This was the article/video that made me look up FX-sabers and join this forum. I am still just barely breaking my teeth here and though I have multiple other sabers from other places it is here that I am hoping to learn all I can and also to maybe get on what I am thinking it that coveted wait list. I am sure I will find that thread soon. I always enjoy this video. :)

Same here! This is what brought me here. Amazing stuff.

This article is definitely what brought me here. I'm also unable to work very much due to medical conditions, and this is a way to do something I love and keep the lights on, so I hope to be as good as yoda one day.
