Ahhhh.... memories.

WAAAAAAAAAAY back before there was Gemini Concepts, I bought my first MR saber.
It was a Mace Windu from Master Replica's.  After I put a fresh set of batteries in
it, I went over to Chewie's house and started dueling with him.  Within about 5
minutes, I had 3 or 4 busted LED's.  I ordered a DIY conversion kit from Ultra Sabers
and converted my very first saber with a LuxIII white LED and a purple disc.  Two
years and a bunch of new tech and knowledge later... we get to do it again.

CodeK was having a few problems with his Mace, mainly a clash sensor malfunction.
Since we lucked upon a Mace board a while back, we offered to replace his board.
While we were doing that, might as well get him a nice RGB purple too, right?  I also
polished up his hilt, removed a few scratches and got his brass... well... brassy again.   ;)

Codek5, here's your NEW and IMPROVED Master Replica's Mace Windu Saber:

Cody, thank you very much and we hope you enjoy your new saber.  As always, we'll hold it for a few days to ensure there's no 'bugs' in it and then we'll release it back to you.  Please let us know if you need anything.  ENJOY!   ;)

This uses General Grevious' technique for purple, our take on his TruPurple.
Thanks General for the help with this, most appreciated.

Codek5, hope u enjoy the saber, really nice color, (pretty bright for a purple). I like conversion builds.

Looks really nice. 8)
Does this have the red die/blue die separation close to the emitter? Or is it a solid purple all down the blade.
The blade socket on the Mace I had was too shallow (I think they're all like that) and so you could see the separation of colors for about the first half-inch past the emitter...

All the Mace kits are like that... but what blade are you using?  I've found that a mid-grade blade looks better than an Ultraedge blade.

Glad you like it Codek!!!   ;D  and thank you.

A Corbin blade. I should've tried the midgrade. :-\

Well, it also might have something to do with the optic solution too.  Do you know what degree lens is in yours?  I only mentioned the UltraEdge blade cause sometimes I've noticed sort of a swirling effect near the emitter and toward the blade tip.

IIRC, this uses a 5 degree optics.

Not sure. I'd have to check with LDM. I think it was probably a 5 degree, though.

Sorry to threadjack. :-[
Codek, you've got a sweet saber coming your way!

If Im not mistaken, you can tell by the surface of the lens, ....if it has a "divet" then its a 5 degree, ...if it smooth, then its a 10.

Also, if your Corbin blae has just "Corbin film" and no poly p then thats also a problem. The Poly helps to mix the colors.
