MR Luke V2 Smorgis Style (Video Added)
« on: September 15, 2010, 06:27:26 PM »
This is my MR based Luke V2 I have been working on for a few weeks now.
My work is still under construction.  Waiting on parts to install tactical switch in control box.
I found a MR ESB clamp from an old fx saber.  The clamp was in good shape but was missing one side of the control box, so I decided to go another route.  I used the two side pieces from an actual graflex clamp so I was able to add a working PJ V2 lever.  Added PJ cone knob, fillister screw, and D- ring.  So far I am Very Happy with the results.
The saber is still using a stock Luke ROTJ soundcard, and powering a green rebel led.
Here are the pics.  Hope you like it.

My saber is now complete.
I found a great thread that allowed me to use a momentary switch on a latching soundboard.  So I mounted a tacticle switch on the side of the activation box for the main power switch. A great tutorial by the way.
And here is the Video.
