Tales of the Jedi Comics Lightsaber by e57

This is another mash-glomeration of all the pictures of the Ulic and Cay Qel Droma lightsabers from the TOTJ comics, mostly  the first book (KotOR).  It was just a pick-and-choose-free-for-all when it came to deciding which hilt features to include.  Ultimately I just made the hilt that I remember from over two decades ago. Dang, man.

The blade is something different, it's a 30mm OD leftover from a mokototsai blade that I got from him years ago.  I still had the blade holder from the original hilt, and even though it's bored to accept a 30mm blade, the OD of the BH was 1.25", soit fit darn near perfectly with the rest of the raw stock that I use. #win

Prizm 5.5, 2x neopixel skinny strips and 2x 18650s.

Thanks, man.  My work only has eyes for me, but it's very flattered and willing to be just friends... :azn:

 ...the tiny intricate foil tape panel work.

Well, that's my mind blown for the day. Back to spring cleaning for me!

Seriously. The blade holder looks great, but the patchwork of panels on the grip is what sells it for me. You've managed to translate the jagged, overlapping panel design aesthetic of almost all the technology from that comic series onto a hilt. I mean... wow.
Better late than never.

Aw, such a nice lad. :azn:

I mean, in all fairness, I have been thinking about this hilt for literal DECADES... :lamp:

Raise your hand if you're also guilty.
