KotOR sabers

These are my installs for the folks on Fx and the folks from my website.  I lumped them together to save myself some work.  Part of the reason that I pressed this particular saber be the first is that I had 5 clients waiting for one, lol.  Another of us also had at least two waiting (that I was going to make) so that is seven total.  So, I know that the rules were "no changes" (and they were) some of these sabers were commissions that I only took if they would be part of the run (with the caveat that I would customize).  I have two highly customized hilts that I will post separately.  ALL hilts have Sekrogue1985's AWESOME KotOR Jedi Font.

The first hilt is for Ladyhawke.

Next, is Stevelink1.  

He is from my website and wanted a color changing feature like some of my previous sabers.  I made this a simple color swap saber in that all he does is unplug one color and plug in another.  I used an RGBA, so he has 4 blade colors and 4 FoC colors.

He is doing a Revan for the 501st and wanted a specific version of the saber.  He wanted one purple and one red.  Both hilts have trans-copper PC'd pommels.

Finally, EyeoftheRaven's TruPurple stunt.  

Because I had so many people to do, I totally forgot about EotR.  Master Qui-Gon did his install and I did the Powder coating and machining.  I call this the basic Revan Treatment.  It consists of machining the "neck" of the saber, adding grooves to the emitter and copper Powder coat along with black Powder in the larger grooves of the "shroud".

KotOR Customs

These are heavily customized KotOR sabers.  These were both for clients through my website. 

First is for Clark Kent

Clark bought a standard KotOR hilt from the run.  When I sent him his approval pix and vid he asked me if I could upgrade it.  Yeah...that fast, lol.  It had never left my shop.  I charged him accordingly and performed an "in-Depth" Revan Mod. which included extensive machining, Powder coating and full light matte weathering.  So...I built Clark's twice in 3 days.  Although this is not an exact replica of the Deviant Art Revan, it has the same number of grooves, same coloration and similar shroud orientation, at least to the extent that I could modify the KotOR hilt.

My final KotOR saber was for ScruffyNerfHerder.

This is the most highly customized hilt that I did.  He really just wanted a custom "Jedi" saber so I convinced him to be a part of the run and let me use one of the sabers as a base for his design.  He wanted various elements included in the saber (like blue PC and a thong-stitched leather grip reminiscent of my Hett Genesis).  This is the result.

It means that some of us aren't quite finished ours, and we will be posting soon.  I have three of my four sabers finished.  I'm hoping to finish the last one over the weekend, and post pictures early next week.

Perhaps I can post the three that are done when I get home from work tonight.

I'm pretty stoked about the color-changing feature of my saber. Now, somewhat like in the game, I can change my saber's color, but only by taking it apart and putting it back together, preferably at a workstation :P

sounds like there's a blaster file missing so the PC has nothing to play.  I've had many a heart attack from that same problem.   :D

That is the most likely culprit,  since the  font only had one blaster effect.  On the sabers I did with pc 2.0's,  I  plied the blaster effect and.renamed the copies appropriately.

There are at least two videos posted that show.how to access the SD cards ....one in JANGOS's post,  the other in mine.

Are they capitalized?  it should be: blaster, blaster2, blaster3, blaster4

Maybe we ought to try another font and see if that fixes it?  Go ahead and email me and I will send you lightmeat or darkmeat to test out.

Wat is working on the Legacy and Skinnyflex runs currently. He's also working on the Black Mamba run.
I do not think there will be a order thread posted until late 4th quarter 2014.
