My Graflex 2.0 will be coming in the mail next week and the blade is the only thing the guy didn't have for it.
I see Vaders Vault pop us a seller, and the $30 price point is fine with me, but does it take as long to get a blade from VV that is does their sabers?
To wait 30+ weeks for strictly a blade is ludicrous.

Doesn't take long if you just order a blade.
Ordered just a blade from Vader's Vault once and it took less than a week to arrive.

I ordered 2 7/8s from VV, a couple weeks ago. Shipped the day after I ordered.
Their is also Obi-Shane, whom you can find on FB.
Or you can try TCSS

I would point out the blades which ShadyCanuck builds:
FS: 7/8†OD thick-walled dueling blades (https://www.fx-sabers.com/forum/index.php?topic=47099.0)

Thanks for the replies guys. Glad to know VV doesn't take as long with blades.

In my opinion makes Vader's Vault one of the best Thin Walled Blades for brightness of your colours.

I have gotten several blades from VV and usually have received them within 10-14 days or less. Their blades are excellent!

Are the blades so differend from the Ultra saber blades than?
I can use some new blades.
What makes them so good?
For most of my sabers, like Michael Murphy's Graflex, I need to sand the 1" blades down a bit to fit. Is 7/8" what I need than, or is that too small and do I ask them (if possible) to sand the 1" blades down at the first 4cm?

Darth Matth, I really like VV blades because they are very evenly lit and if you get the shine through tip option, the entire blade color blends, instead of having a nice blade but the tip is dull, and has the dead spot tip effect which spoils the look. If you want a fuller, wider edge to edge look, the Trans White Option is what you want. On Blues, Greens and Purples it can slightly alter or "wash out" the color a little. The VV clear blades are sanded and while you get a slight "light in a tube effect" vs Trans white, the color will not get washed out at all. You will get a very bright, evenly lit blade. If you have a saber with a Green led, try a VV PHOTON blade. They absolutely make your green colored blade brighter and have more color saturation!
With a traditional graflex, a 1" blade is the norm, you just may need to sand your blade down a bit. It's easy and does not take too long, just tape the bottom opening or place a cotton ball inside the blade so the shavings don't get inside your blade.
