What minimal tools do you need to tinker around like that?

A hammer is what most use but you can get away with a screwdriver.

For this, you most likely need -

Hammer
screwdriver
wire cutters
soldering items (iron, rosin core solder)
Wire strippers
a new speaker ot fit MHS parts
A switch (most likely)
A LED
etc etc

A soundboard would help.  ;)

I was responding to Darkside's question Jm. I guess I should have clarified though. It looks like a renegade post. ;D ;D

Lol Caden, you know I have to give you crap wherever possible. ;)

But, it's an interesting review nonetheless.  That resonance tube was a cool effect.

I know... there's a conspiracy going around. You, Chewie, MJ... You're all PROBABLY in on it... lol

But it is an interesting review. I could have sworn those sabers has clash sounds. DO you plan on utilizing the color changing effect? I watched it last night, so I'm not terribly clear on what you said. (It was 11 o'clock, and the pain in my hand wasn't so good. Dang airsoft guns.) :D
