Congratulations, ArkaiHalon. *patpats everyone*

I repeat my offer: If anyone to learn a shiatsu technique to help ease headache pain, just send me a pm. It won't take the place of consulting a bona fide medical professional, but it definitely helps. :)

Thought I posted this late last night... been so tired lately...

On Saturday my 7 month old son drank his last bottle (around 4 oz) at 4am and then threw up any other milk he had through out the day. By the evening, he was dry heaving, as if he wanted to throw up, but didn't have anything to throw up. Added to this he was having LABORED breathing, I mean, his stomach was contracting as if he was doing hard ab excercises.

To the emergency room we went, and later that night admitted to the hospital. We were there a couple of days.

He had Bronciolitis, an ear infection, and was dehydrated, a triple play...

It hurt to see him so miserable, to see them fish around under his skin to find a vein for the IV needle. He had to do breathing treatments every hour...

He's home now, with a Nebulizer breathing treatment machine, and slowly getting his appetite back.

All I can say is God is good...and He will restore him back to his happy self....

Keep him in your prayers....

God Bless,
JYN

Briefly put... Thanks Dearth, thanks Caine.

I mean it. Prayer is a powerful and underrated thing...

Don't worry... the Force is strong with this one, cause he's a Jedi like his father before him, and more importantly cause God is with him :)

I can empathise with you Nala as my wee boy had Bacterial Menengitis when he was a similar age and there is noting more scary than thinking you might lose your child. Kids are tough cookies and within a couple of weeks he had recovered completely, like it never happened. He's 8 now and as fit as a butchers dog. I'm not religious so i can't pray for you but you will all be in my thoughts. Keep us posted on his progress please.

Sorry to hear that Ray.  I'm glad to hear that he is getting better though.  And just after you got back from your trip.  :P   Tiring it must be.

You're in my prayers buddy.  I got a new iPhone and downloaded a prayer app. (There's an app for everything)  :D  Putting you in right now.  ;)

Got you listed right next to Corey Amptrooper.  ;D

Praying for him, Ray. That must have been a scary moment :(.

But as you said, God is good.

Let me know how he's doing :).

Thanks Luke...thanks MD.

Saw his pediatrician yesterday... he's recovering slowly... still just 4 oz a feeding... but he is laughing and smiling. :)

Now to something else...

At the hospital, I was able to finish this while he was sleeping....

The latest post has the video I did of our trip to the Philippines.

My son was awesome there... 6-8 oz a feeding... cheeks not so itchy for the cold winter Michigan weather... upon returning, he got sick... but oh well.. like I said he's getting better.

Hope you all like the pictures and the video :) That link has a LOT of good news for the Cafe :)

That link has a LOT of good news for the Cafe :)

Indeedy it does. Thanks for the recap. :)

Two bits of good news from me:

1. A Chilean friend and fellow gamer is alive and well in spite of the earthquake that rocked his country yesterday. I'm still awaiting word from the other one, but I believe God will take care of them.

2. Today is a special day for me. It doesn't happen too often, yet when it does, it's worth celebrating. I'll be starting the festivities in about a couple of hours.  8)

Unexpected email t'other day from Bose telling me they are going to allow mp3's to be stored on their Lifestyle Home Cinema Systems!! Big boost. Used to be able to store 350 ish albums on it but now that will be nearer 1000. Looks like i'll save some cash on a network drive i've been thinking about getting!!
