Title: K3GR1: Burnt Toast The first one completed.

To clarify, Burnt toast was the first K3GR1 completed and posted a JSSDC

This started as a clean hilt. No anodizing.

I had been preparing to make another Rusty/weathered saber using Eastern57's olive oil technique for a few months, and this seemed like a perfect fit.
The saber's name is a play on the CF toast joke, and the hilts weathering. Also, this has a CF 3.0 that fried and was repaired and upgraded to a 4.1 by Erv.

The weathering was intended to simulate a saber lost, charred by intense heat and then repaired by a sith lord.

CF 4.1 refurb
2x Trustfire 18650
TCSS speaker
P4 red for the main LED
Recharge port in pommel
1x RGB accent LED
1x Red accent LED
UltraEdge Blade

Both switches are in the control box

*sigh*  I've had days when I really regret ever baking a lightsaber in olive oil.  Now take that exact opposite feeling and apply it here.   ;D ;D ;D

I'm not trying to sound like your dad, for serial.... but I'm really proud at how you've taken that technique at truly made it your own.  You've done more oilive oil sabers than I have - like, twice as many.  Which naturally, leads you to have more experience with the process, and also leads to more wild and believably ancient sabers... dug out of who-knows-where...  ;)

Some people don't like the weathered look, I say, to heck with them - more for us!  Beauty, Jango!

Sitting at work for 12 hrs today bored...  So I started watching vids....   ;D   I must say,  that the video makes me appreciate this saber alot more.   ;D  The font and and red flicker totally finish off the effect.  This is def my favorite of the series.

CF is now a 4.31
Main Led is a LEDengin RGBA with the Red, Amber in series running at 1.5a It's basically an orange bladed saber.

Bright firey ORANGE goodness...BURNT toast indeed...and a great flash effect. I love it! ;D

If I ever get lucky to get a CF this RGBA combination is a must try.

Very nice updates. Always did love amber in an orange configuration. Nice selection on fonts as well :)
