Get the Luke ESB, even though you have Anakin ROTS.

That is sound advice for all MR FX collectors.  Another thing that makes the Luke ESB look and feel so nice is the brushed stainless finish.  Looks very nice and doesn't show fingerprints.

The Anakin ROTS is the smart buy considering price.  Quality wise though, without price considered, the Luke ESB is FAR superior in every single respect with the exception of the sound module.

One thing do.
The ring with the spickels where the controlebox is placed on is metal too, very thick heavy metal.
I always thought that was plastic.
Was that plastic, or was it always metal?

Mine had plastic all over it!  I am positive that the rabbit ears were plastic.  I am almost positive that the gray thick center band was plastic.  That blows my mind that those parts are all metal know.  I would really like to hold one of the improved versions.

Mine's plastic too and I feel so disappointed because of that!!!. I ordered mine in august and had the plastic one, oh I'm so unlucky. I feel that I could rip off my heart  :'(

The gray thick centerband is SOOOO METAL NOW.
That explains why the sabers are so heavy.
A few months ago I had them in my hands and I really did"n"t want to buy FX Sabers anymore, but I saw all the review so I thought,... what the hack, I can always cell them again after I saw them in my house. The first time I saw them was in a very lighted shop. I was disappointed.
They feel light I thought, and the light and sound disappoint me.
That was than.
How I feel now is very different.

I"ll be back tomorrow, its very late here in Holland.
I have to go up early for my kids.
They have to go to school.

Men, they really have a story to tell.

Dias it sounds like you are doubtful that the old ones were made of plastic.  The only thing that was metal on mine was the tube itself, the circuit board, and the circuit board housing.

Anakin, have you considered changing Mace AOTC to MACE ROTS?
