"I would love to see others take on Arduino-based saber projects like this. If enough people try it then it could become popular enough to become a whole new category of saber." --JakeSoft 2013
It took 5 years, but it looks like we have finally arrived. We have our own board on FX-Sabers!

It shows that the community recognizes and welcomes now open source saber boards. Your dream actually came fully true Jake, saber boards became:
- much more powerful
- lot of new hardware and fx features
- insanely cheap compared to what they can do and what value they add to sabers
- better available, no long wait time any more
and all of this has been driven mainly by the open source community.
This year holds a whole row of long awaited surprises too :)

HA! Yeah, I bet that topic title was confusing. I'm expressing gratitude to FX-Sabers for giving the open source guys/gals our own section of the forum. I changed the thread topic.

Hello, i've build a lightsaber recently and during the process I found problems with SD Card, resolving it I want to share with others. The main issue was order of soundfont files on sd card. This was driving me nuts and the advices given in this topic doesnt work for me. I found an app SD Sorter (trustfm.net/software/utilities/SDSorter.php) and fixed the problem instantly. Just sorted the soundfont files in file tables by name in each folder separately.
