Title: Neopixel Shadow Limitation?
Post by: C_Kilfeather on July 20, 2018, 08:15:52 AM
what’s the best way to reduce shadows on neopixel strips? I know that 3 strips seem to work well that way but suck up a lot of power. Are there any special diffusers or LED strips (i.e. adafruit skinny), that work well and aren’t as energetically expensive as 3 strips?
Thanks

Use 3 layers of packing foam and a few meters of clear gift wrap.

Shop Blue Hawk 12-in x 75-ft Plastic Packing Foam at Lowes.com (https://www.lowes.com/pd/Blue-Hawk-12-in-x-75-ft-Plastic-Packing-Foam/1000126249)

I was just a minute away from starting a new thread, asking if packing foam would make good diffusion for pixle blades!!!! Thanks fir answering my question.
