A note on shiny "gold" powder coating...  If you truly want a bright shiny gold, then plating is a must.  If you don't mind more of a "golden tint" then powdercoating is the way to go.

Only through korbanth.  I am not messing with that.  Also, if I need to add a switch hole to the hilt or enlarge any of the existing holes (which I will), it will ruin plating.

Black Chrome PC has a greenish tint.  So it would not look exactly like that.  As far as would it cost extra to PC extra parts?  Of course.  It is extra work and extra materials, so it should rightfully increase the cost, no?

Two-tone PC will not be an option.  Getting a good "seam" simply will not be possible/reasonable.  For a one-off job with no budget, maybe.  For a run in which I have to do 25 installs?  Heck no.   For those who do not Powder Coat, that is like asking if I can fart and burp at the same time and about as comfortable.  My advice to those who want an MR is to buy an MR ;)  As to chroming, you can't drill/machine through chrome plating without ruining the chrome and splintering it.  That means the hilt would have to be prepped for install BEFORE it was plated.

I will indeed do them down the line.  I will fill the requests here FIRST, but if a person cannot do it now (or more realistically in a month or so), then later is perfectly fine.
