Config. values are not taking effect. (SOLVED)
« on: March 06, 2018, 08:06:44 PM »
I'm not sure why I'm having this issue but whenever I change values in my configuration files, the changes do not seem to take effect, at least for the led current values. As a test, I even set my main channel value to the main blade very low (150) and it was still as bright as ever. The card is formatted correctly in FAT32, sound fonts are loading up beautifully but I'm unable to properly control my current output and any FoC effect causes my battery pack protection circuit to trip.

Any help? Here's a copy of the config just in case. I'm using CFv9. I've got two LEDs hooked in series for the main blade and a white LED hooked to FoC pad 1. The FoC LED is connected to a 3.3 ohm resistor.

Can you access settings and save through RICE?

default config ships with with color profiles (override file) which have a priority over standard blade color definition (bank specific, in config.txt)

Ah ok. So since this saber doesn't change color, would color0 be the parameter I edit?

Yes you can use a single colour profile which will ensure a constant colour for the sabre

And I can just straight up delete the other color profiles? Just keep color0, fcolor0, lcolor0, etc.

On this note, could I do the same with a a Prizm 5.1 saber using trident? Say for example single color blade and quillions: I could do something like this:

color0 = 750, 750, 0

Excellent! Everything worked on both boards. Thank you, Erv!
