(RESOLVED) Odd "blaster blocking" issue on Prizm 5.1
« on: October 27, 2017, 05:06:43 AM »
I've been tweaking fonts on my new Prizm, and it's coming along nicely!

But I've got one problem I could use some help on.
I have 5 fonts loaded.
For my 'red blade' font, the blaster block feature works great.
For any font with a blade color OTHER than red, things act up.
For instance:  One font has a blue blade.  When I trigger blaster, the blade turns red while the blaster.wav is playing, and impacts white (as it should) then the blade returns to its normal color (blue)
Is there a config line that separately defines blade color *while the blaster.wav is playing*?

Similar problem with the other fonts.  The blade either changes to red, or goes completely dark while blaster.wav is playing.

Thanks for the assistance!

you need to adjust the FoC mixing of your color profile (see dedicated paragraph in the manual regarding shimmer vs foc timelines).
Bottom line : you have one dice following the shimmer, the other one the foc timeline. As they are 2 different parameters with their own duration, you see the transition between the 2.

Success!  Fixing values for fdrive and focmix did the trick.

I bought this Prizm so I'd have something to play with while waiting for the next Crystal Focus.
So far, I'm quite happy!  Lots of great features, and a real step up from the Pico Crumble I put in my daughter's saber.
There's definitely a learning curve to the config files, but I'm enjoying figuring it all out.

Thanks for the help, Erv'!
